SV LocalReset - Python Script for Cinema4D

Tags: Creative Commons | download | free

SV LocalResetThis my first Python script. Hopefully I'll create more scripts, soon!
SV LocalReset sets the local position and rotation of the selected objects to zero.
This is very helpful, when you are grouping objects and want the child objects to
have the same position as the parent object.

The script also has an undo function :)

SV Eyeballs - free eye setup for Cinema 4D

Tags: commercial use | Creative Commons | download | free

Here is a free eye setup I created for Cinema 4D R12!
It's more something like "proof of concept", as the modeling isn't that good.
I think I've overdone the curvature of the cornea.

Anyway, I hope to give you some ideas and get you thinking
about different ways of doing an eye setup.

My friend and workmate David Shelton, who runs 3dHippie's Blog, has published an optimized version of the camera rig he created
for Broken! Isn't that awesome?!? My personal highlight is the floating window feature he added. But here is the feature list:

  1. parrallel cameras – no keystone distortion
  2. unlocked target and focus postioning
  3. one-click stereo preview
  4. unlimited number of stereocameras in scene
  5. supports floating frame
  6. adjustable ranges

You can download it from 3dHippie's Blog and also enjoy a quick tutorial about the camera rig.
At CGTalk you can find the thread about the rig, where you can give comments, critiques and ideas for improvement.

Thanks Dave!
